Telos Membership has it’s…
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior that WE BELONG to the fellowship and family of God, to BE TRAINED in reading and memorizing our Bibles, in serving the body, evangelizing, and in prayer, to BE STRONG until Jesus comes or He takes us home.
Our goal is to be an “Acts 2:42” church.  "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."  (Read, Serve, Pray)

At Telos, this means: Teaching, Equipping, Loving, Obeying, and Serving.  In the Greek, Telos means, “to bring to a close or a designated end.”     Our Time, Talent, and Tithes will be a commitment that comes out of my desire to further the ministries of Telos Bible Church.

Be trained –
·         Reading and memorizing your Bible – 1 Peter 2:2; Deuteronomy 32:47; 2 Peter 1:3; Col. 3:16; 2 Tim. 2:15; 3:16; Psalm 119:11
·         Serving and evangelizing – 1 Cor. 12:7; 1 Peter 4:10; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:20

Be strong – 2 Tim. 1:7; Eph. 6:10; 1 Tim. 4:16

State of the Church today – God is being “punted” in every area. The lure of sin is strong and keeps unbelievers in a trap. Believers are diluting their lives with what is popular and looks good.

We are not an organization but an organism.

Believe
Jesus is the core and foundational stone of the church – “cornerstone” and “capstone”, the Alpha and Omega which is the beginning and end of the Greek alphabet.
John 3:1-7 - Nicodemas came in the middle of the night to Jesus. Jesus describes how one can enter the Kingdom of God.
In the Old Testament there is a temporary payment of sin through sacrifice.

Acts 4:12 – no other name under heaven which man can be saved, “Jesus”
1 John 11:12

Belong - Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—John 1:12
1 Cor. 12:12(-20) - The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
Serving is vital to support the body of Christ.
He wants the first fruits. That is the proof of our faith in Him.

Be Trained - What do we do between the Cross and the Crown?
Acts 2:42 - They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
